How do I book a class?
For your convenience, please click HERE for all the information you will need to reserve a spot in your desired classes.
Booking of classes may be done 3 days in advance.
Members are limited to 2 classes per day.
To be fair to the community, if you are unable to attend the class you booked you must cancel your booking as soon as possible but no later than 6 hours in advance, failing which we reserve the right to cancel your current bookings and suspend future bookings.
What will happen to my membership?
On 1 July, 2020 we officially transitioned into our Modified period and since we are unable to provide full Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Muay Thai programs, members will have the choice of either...

When will FaMA be back to relatively normal operations?
Hopefully soon but this all depends on the government’s rules and regulations. Please make sure to check your email for FaMA’s latest updates.
Are we allowed to use the shower facilities?
Yes but you will have to bring your own towel. Showers, locker room and keys will be sanitized throughout the day.
Will you still have laundry services?
Unfortunately, laundry service is suspended at this time.
Can we use the water dispenser?
For your safety the water dispenser and use of the lounge are suspended until further notice so please bring along your own water.
How is FaMA avoiding cross-contamination?
Practicing social distancing within the academy.
Members will have their own equipment assigned to them during their class. There will be no sharing and all equipment will be cleaned and sanitized after each class.
The mat area will be cleaned and sanitized after each class and a deep, thorough cleaning of the academy will be done at the end of every day.
Members will leave the premises in intervals.
Do we have to wear masks while we are training?
According to SportSG’s guidelines, we require members to wear a mask in the academy at all times except when participating in class.
How are you keeping the FaMA Team safe?
The staff has been separated into three teams to avoid interaction between them.
All staff have their temperatures taken at a higher frequency.
All staff will be washing and sanitizing their hands on a regular basis.
What classes are being offered at this time?
We will be teaching modified Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Muay Thai, FaMA Fit and Kids Martial Arts within the government regulations and circumstances.
Will there be physical contact in the classes?
Physical contact will be kept at minimal only for Muay Thai as stated in MOH and SportsSG’s guidelines for transient contact such as kicking and punching are acceptable. Therefore padwork with the instructor can be done while remaining socially distant from other members. However, BJJ and clinching in Muay Thai is still not permissible during this phase as grappling in general is not allowed. Therefore, BJJ class will focus on solo drills.
Can I train with a partner?
Yes, as long as you and your partner live in the same household.
Will FaMA be providing private lessons?
Yes, but subject to time and space availability. Please enquire with your instructor.
Do I need any martial arts experience or have a certain level of fitness to do the free week trial?
Not at all. We encourage everyone, from all walks of life, to take part in our classes at their own pace to help them reach their fitness and martial arts goals.

Can I attend any class during the free week trial?
Yes, you are welcome to try all of the basic and fundamental classes during your free week trial. If the instructor has invited you to try the intermediate or advanced classes, you are welcome to try those as well.
Do you provide uniforms and equipment during the free week trial?
We have all you need for your free week trial, all we ask is for you to bring a rashguard/sports shirt/sports shorts to wear and a water bottle. Exercise or training shoes will not be needed as classes take place on our training mats.
Does your facility have showers?
Yes, the men’s and women’s changing rooms have individual shower stalls stocked with antibacterial soap. A free towel for use is also provided in your free locker during your visit.
Do you have flexible membership options?
We have both a limited and an unlimited membership option ranging from a 10-day pass all the way up to a full annual membership.
Can I pay with a credit card?
Yes, we accept all major credit cards except AMEX.
Can I suspend my membership for travel or medical reasons?
Members on any unlimited plan are entitled to membership suspension benefits. Just inform us here to ensure you get the most out of your membership.
Do you offer any kind of discount?
We currently offer several types of discounts such as our Loyalty Discount, Family Discount, Group Discount and Military/Law Enforcement Discounts. Please enquire for more details.
