“When I Was A Beginner…”:

FaMA Assistant Instructors Edition - Part 2

The martial arts journey can be really gritty, and sometimes other factors in life don’t make it any easier for you. But we recall a lovely song lyric that goes, “If you don’t quit, you win!” And we reckon that like all great loves, your favourite martial art should be worth sticking it out for, through the good times and the bad.

Whether it was after a whole year of feeling awkward, experiencing frequent switches in instructors at the gym, or overcoming self-doubt and negative mindsets, our Assistant Instructors pulled through teething problems to continue pursuing their love for Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ). And we are so glad that they did not quit!

FaMA BJJ Buddy System

We know it's been a bit lonesome training in our designated workout areas but now you've got company.

With the money from our amazing community's generous Circuit Breaker donation, we have decided to put it right back into the community by purchasing grappling buddies. It probably makes sense now why we asked for fabric donations as they've been given a second life and helped give life to our new buddies.

To see what kind of fun ice-breaking activities the Professors have prepared for you and your new buddy, drop by the academy or sign-up for a FREE TRIAL.

FaMA Fit Live

Coaches Kirstie and Zoro are back with FaMA Fit Live this Saturday and Sunday from 10:30 to 11:30 am.
