FaMA - Fitness and Martial Arts’ world-class Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ), Muay Thai, Fitness and Kids Martial Arts instructors are a team of Professors, Krus and Coaches dedicated to helping everyone reach their Fitness and Martial Arts goals. Our internationally diverse team of instructors come from all over the world and they’re here to share their wealth of experience and knowledge with you. 

ZORO MOREIRA
 
Head Instructor

Zoro Moreira Jr. is a 3rd degree Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Black Belt from Macae, Brazil, and has been training BJJ since 1993 and Muay Thai with Kru Yo since 2010. Zoro trains under Gordo Jiu-Jitsu, and received his Black Belt from Carlos Gracie Jr and Adao Januario in 2005. His notable accomplishments in BJJ include three first place wins at the Brazilian National level and one first place win at the IBJJF World Championships in 2005.

 

Zoro has been teaching martial arts since 2005, both in Brazil and Singapore. He is also a renowned Mixed Martial Artist, fighting in promotions such as ONE FC and Martial Combat, with a professional record of 8 wins and 3 losses. Besides MMA, Zoro is also an experienced Muay Thai fighter with a professional record of 5 wins and 0 losses.

Beginning his training at a very young age, Kru Yo has had over 200 career Muay Thai fights and is a 4x World Champion (Lumpinee). Known as "Vampire Knees," from his competition days, Kru Yo was active throughout Muay Thai's Golden Era where he is regarded as a legend.

With over 20 years of Muay Thai teaching experience, Kru Yo has created many of his own champions out of his school, Lamnammoon Muay Thai, and as taught in countries such as Malaysia, Australia, England, Scotland and now Singapore.

ROBYN GOUDY

Former FaMA Guest Instructor, Professor Robyn Goudy, who received his black belt from Master Joe Moreira in 2015, is FaMA's BJJ Curriculum Director and Competition Coach.

 

From California, Professor Robyn has over 20 years of experience in a variety of martial arts with a second degree black belt in Goju Kyokai Karate. He is also an extremely well rounded grappler who loves to teach No-Gi BJJ and has coached several professional MMA fighters.

THIAGO GASPARY

Former FaMA Guest Instructor, Professor Thiago Gaspary, started Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu in 1993 under Toti "Pitoco" Jordan in Rio de Janeiro and received his Black Belt from Roberto "Gordo" Correa in 2012. With a wide range of experience teaching BJJ, he has taught in South Carolina and Florida, U.S., as well as in Kristiansand, Norway. Besides being one of the Head Professors at the famous Gordo Jiu-Jitsu Academy, in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, Professor Thiago has also studied traditional BJJ Self-Defence and Self-Defence for Law Enforcement.

 

Through his love of exploring the intricacies of BJJ, Professor Thiago instills a love for the technical side and the simplicity of BJJ in all his students.

BRYAN TEE

Muay Thai

Kru Bryan started learning Muay Thai at the age of 12 and started traveling to Thailand to train at the age of 15 where he lived and competed for 4 years. With a professional career of 36 matches, Kru Bryan has 31 wins, 16 knockouts, and only 5 losses. He has competed and won in some of the most prestigious stadiums such as Lumpinee Stadium and also holds a World Muaythai Council 4 man tournament title.

 

Not only technical in his Muay Thai, he is also a very technical instructor with an eye for detail and strong fundamentals. Kru Bryan’s classes offer a fun environment where students are guaranteed to learn and improve their Muay Thai skills as well as have a fun and engaging workout.
