We would like to wish FaMA Kids BJJ Assistant Instructor, Tim, a happy birthday. Known for being one of FaMA’s hardest working students, Tim and his family have been with us since almost the beginning and we are lucky to have him on our coaching team.

Congratulations to Junior Champions Miko and Riko on being promoted to Grey Belt this past week. It's great to see these sisters continue to train and support each other's martial arts journey.

 

Kru Yo's Weekly Muay Thai Combo


This week Kru Yo shows us how to slide and avoid the power when catching kicks.


1. jab, jab

2. rear low kick

3. rear body kick

4. lead leg block/check

5. lead switch kick

6. catch kick

7. knee (still holding their leg)

8. throw the caught leg across your body

9. rear body kick


As well as some important details on how to check/block kicks properly and a gentle reminder on how much they can hurt.
