THEORY OF JIU-JITSU

fama singapore bjj brazilian jiu jitsu theory of class with professor thiago gaspary

Theory of Jiu-Jitsu with Professor Thiago is back every Sunday from 1:45 to 2:45 pm.

Through exploration and experimentation, this class focuses on two aspects: principles that have a broad and practical application on the overall game of the students, and details that make a difference in the success rate when applying the techniques of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.

Please note that this class is for two stripe White Belts and above.

NO-GI BJJ NOW ON SATURDAYS

Join Professor Robyn for an additional No-Gi BJJ class every Saturday at 4:00 pm.

A compliment to gi Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, No-Gi is another popular form of grappling where instead of wearing a gi you wear shorts and a rashguard.

Due to the lack of material and grips that are found on the gi, different holds and methods of control are used. These grips are wrestling based grips such as on the head, neck and joints all over the body.

FaMA’s BJJ No-Gi program also places an emphasis on wrestling takedowns and leg locks that are suitable for No-Gi competitions which are rising in popularity.

Please note that this class is for two stripe White Belts and above.
