GROUPS OF FIVE!
After a long temporary closure and returning to only groups of two, starting Monday 12 July we will finally be moving to groups of five with NO masks.
We are incredibly excited to have more partners train with, more friends to share the mat with, and most of all, more fitness and martial arts in our lives.
See you Monday!
Just a gentle reminder to please maintain social distancing in the academy and to keep your mask on unless participating in a class.
To help us better serve the community, we would like to ask everyone to please update us at info@famafit.com if you have received your full COVID-19 vaccination.
BRAZILIAN JIU-JITSU BELT PROMOTIONS

EARNED THEIR STRIPES
Well done to our Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu students on earning their new stripes this past week!
SATURDAY NIGHT BREAKDOWN CLIPS
The moment we’ve all been waiting for. In this week's clip, referenced on the Joe Rogan Experience multiple times, the Professors break down the soccer kick heard around the world and the development of Professor Zoro’s Muay Thai skills.
The Professors talk about the competitiveness between martial arts styles in Brazil during the late 90s and watch a classic vale tudo backyard brawl.
In this clip Kru Yo talks about the most important characteristic a Muay Thai fighter needs and shares what happened in his last professional bout.
What is your guess for Coach Kirstie’s favourite combat sport to compete in? Watch this clip to hear her answer and why.
